thanks for the reply dana... i think that TSB is only related to 46RE in the Gassers. my truck wont rev to 5800 nor does it shudder/buck. i have the codes, and its for the governor pressure sensor voltage input- Too High. codes P1762 and P1763.

it really does seem like the line pressure is too high. im almost convinced that the tranny shop may have gone inside the pan and tweaked w/ the line pressure screw and over adjusted it. i could correct it w/ a voltage regulator that Emjay sells... which i might just do. the additional line pressure is a good thing, to a point, but only if the truck stays out of limp mode.

i read on Dieseltrans.com that idle line pressure of 60psi would be good for a 200-230hp Cummins truck. i need to hook up a pressure guage to my tranny and find out whats up too.
