also...a lower final drive will measure less tq and less hp on a dyno.

yet, in the real world, a shorter final drive will give the car a better mechanical advantage which allows for our torqueless honda's to accelerate faster.

read this, the v8 guys understand this better than we do because they've been changing their gears for a long time.
