Well you must first learn that most late model car are not body over frame, they are unibody. A uni body automobile is compoosed of three major sections, the doghouse (front clip), greenhouse (passenger section) and the rear clip (rear section). In unibody construction, metal body parts are are welded totogether to form an integral assembly. Oh yeah you also have Space fram construction, its a variation of unibody construction, molded sheets of plastic panels are fastend to a specially designed frame. The plastic panels add to the structural integrity of the vehicle. IN other words you can not take the body off the frame because it is all joined together their is no frame. If you have a destroyed pannel then your gonna have to fix it or drill out all the spots welds and replace the whole pannel.
