No, even when you know how they work, they blow ass.
One thing that is INCREDIBLY helpful is to do one side at a time; LEAVE ONE SIDE UNTOUCHED FOR REFERENCE! That way it'll be easier to put everything back together.
Or swap for disc brakes. Disc is sooo much better in every way
