theres 2 air gaps if i remember correct..the performer is for the avg joe and is dual plane..and the rpm is a single plane...the air gap will make more power then just and avg intake do to the fact of the runner design and the gap under the intake witch stops the heat soak from the valley cover going into the runner plenum.
