two old ricers(ITR hatch vs SI)
today on my way home from work i see a hooked up black civic SI in the rear view comming up on me pretty quick. happens to me every day, but most people are reving on me in slow rush-hour traffic.
anyway, we were close to my house and the traffic was very light and we got a nice opening to get in a run. he was behind me so i got over to see if he would line up with me, and he does. we were going about 40mph and he took the hit, i hit it and pulled two or three cars past him up to 80mph.
we pull over at the gas station by my house and talk about our cars a little bit. he had an SI with i/h/e and skunk2 stage2 cams with supporting internals. the guy was cool as hell and laid back, no excuses, he was an older honda owner,31 years old. i usually only hang out with the domestic crowd because they are more my age(30). so it was nice to meet another honda older honda owner still rockin a modified car.
