I work for Nationwide as an agent. 1st off...I wouldn't bother looking at Nationwide unless you were over 35 with good credit and no accidents or tickets. I also represent Progressive...and it would be cheaper if you just went direct with them online. I have Geico myself and found them to be one of the cheaper companies. You may also want to look online for Unitrin Direct or Safeco. If you don't care to deal with an agent...it would definately be cheaper to go direct(online) with any company.
Just keep in mind that rates change from company to company. They are not all looking for the same demographic...so shop it around.
