S2racing: I will be replacing all the hoses. i just had this engine put in like 45 days ago by a friend. important things like timing belt and water pumpwere replaced, but the old hoses were used to cut costs, as i had to spend a bunch of bread i didn't have bla bla bla. Good looking out though, if i had changed them in the by gone weeks i wouldn't have had this problem. I orded the hose package moments ago.
Bob: thanks for the gypsie rig advice, it's allways good to know that kind of stuff incase the situation calls for drastic measures. i funnelled coolant into the hose before i reconnected it so i think that kept me from having an issue, or the bleed valve did it's job. i also added coolant when the heat was on full blast as derka said.
