No, he really does say the truth. Every single time I have tried to drop my pre-judgement of any Honda 4 banger, I find out it was even worse than I thought! IMO Honda = lost hope. Now if its the 3.2, 3.5, 2.3T, etc, thats different. Otherwise, stop trying so damn hard to squeeze power out of an engine built and engineered from day one to strictly be economical and nothing more.

I see your point then. I never cared much for the A or E series or anything small like that, though I have to admit after owning a 4A-GE I was surprised and shocked at what it was and also its capabilities, not to mention the vastly different versions (20v, small port, GZE, etc.)
