also, tuning will be easier on lower compression, and the biggest one is ITR pistons and either GSR/ITR OEM rods are a SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper option opposed to $500 ish for forged internals, and the half a point of compression would only gain you 10-15whp anyway...

the higher compression will obviously yield slightly more power, however, and bigger cams respond better to higher compression. also, the stronger forged units will hold up better against detonation, nitrous, boost (should you decide thats a good idea)...

so if you just want a peppier daily driver, with some ITR cams or something, and dont want to go more than that, get the ITR internals and call it a day. if you plan on shaving the head, or getting obscene cams and spraying it later on, get the forged stuff.
