Or just make sure your cash can back up the credit card. patience sucks sometimes, but better than frustration later. i think we've all been there.

-do one job at a time. don't skip around (unless it is a project car that gets to spend weeks in the garage). if one job requires another to get to it, plan on that, do the harder one first.

-keep track of everything. even a simple task can leave you with extra bolts. it might be okay sometimes, but that damn dashboard rattle that develops 3 months later will annoy the fuck out of you.
