Understand that there are fundamental laws of physics that allow a Civic with VTEC to win. What actually happens is when the car hits VTEC, it sends a ripple through the space-time plane. When enough turbulence is induced, allowing the ripples to amplify into smaller wavelengths of larger amplitude. When the Civic hits one of these "waves", it folds space-time as it passes in between each wavelength, or crest. This allows the Civic to momentarily leap ahead in time, while the opposing car is left in the standard space-time frame. When the driver lets off or disengages from VTEC, the ripples refract and deintensify down to the normal space-time plane. At this point, your opposing racing wonders what just happened as your awesome Civic just embarrased them. This is why a Honda Civic is an undeafeatable car, thanks to it's incredible VTEC system.




What would happen is a V8 had VTEC? Let's suppose you were to "VTEC" your V8. Because of the high horsepower V8s make something different would happen. I theorize, that the ripples your car would cause to the space-time continuum would fold space in on itself, bending the universal plane inside out, and finally fragmenting into a completely different universe. From your prospective you may have destroyed your opponent, but in reality the universe you left would have collapsed in on itself; indefinitely, and all matter would hit a singularity and be destroyed as the mass of that universe you left goes to infinity. Meanwhile, in the new universe your car just created, by fragmenting space-time, you would discover that your cars displacement is automatically doubled because of the immense torsions your car made on the universal constant. Fortunate for you, every other vehicle in this new universe has had it's displacement halved, due to the enormous amount of energy your car pulled from the fabric of space-time.

So I mean to say is, please don't get VTEC for your V8, because you would doom us all to be crushed into infinite nothingness. Thanks, that is all.
