Not true. I had a 305 RS (92) and it had the SAME cluster (115) as my 305 Z (91). Ive drove quite a few 350 Zs from 91 and 92 and they had the 150 speedo. The 305 Zs and the 305 RS got the same speedo.
yep... you beat me to it...
also the v6 cluster said the same mph but rpm red lined a 1000 higher than the 115mph v8 clusters.
also a friend has a 93 z28 that had a 115 speedo because of the tires. i didn't think they still did that with the ls1's thou because mine came with the crapy rsa's and wasn't limited.
it should be as simple as having someone that does tuning, remove the limiter.
