IF you switch to that motor, you will probably want to bring the 6 speed with it. WHen converting to the 6 speed, you will want to pull the speed sensor signal off of an abs wheel sensor. you'll need to convert the signal, the easiest way also costs the most, get a dakota digital converter. it costs like 70 bucks. you can do it for 70 cents with the right guys from radio shack, but i don't know what they are, nor do a care to. nulled or eluder or one of the EE /CS guys will probably know. epstein probably knows.

Actually a pretty sweet setup would be a vq35 with a greddy kit.

A cheaper solution would be to do a VQ30DET. they are like 800 dollars, and have a very stout bottom end. unbolt the factory manifolds, bolt up z33 plenum and runners, and bolt up a greddy twin kit. 18psi, 9:1 compression, and about 500 whp. that'd be a helluva unique daily.

I know for a fact the 6mt fits, and the motors are about the same size, but the VQ might have a taller overall height. the heads of a vq seem to be smaller, or at least more compact, because of the chain drive.

i'm a fan of the vg however, the main and rod journals are much larger, and motorsport derived.
