What really is puzzling is why your overboost cut did not cut. It shouldn't have mattered if your b.c. fell off, the Hondata should have seen it and cut power to the motor. I mounted the b.c. in the only reasonable manner it could be, perhaps if you had better equipment (which I did recommend to you) it may not have happened.
