I can't speak for everyone else, but in the original post you kinda came off like a kid who heard it was good to polish the rods, so you got out the dremel and some rubbing compound and went to town.
I still stand by my previous post because I do not believe you have the tools to balance the rods when you are done polishing them, that you take them to a machine shop and have them rebalanced.
