I have seen a wire burn through and not conduct current.
Did you do a continuity test on all the wires?
Did you check the plugs to see if they are firing?
You can hold the plug against the block and see if a spark jumps across the gap as you crank it.
Also check to see if all wires (even small ones) are connected at the coil.
I have seen them come loose.-Bob
