do you think you did well?
I think I did pretty well for the first time out on track. i had 3 sessions of about 25-30 minutes. during the first session it was a lil "rough" I guess you could say, since the instructor didnt have microphones and I could barely hear what he was telling me and what he was telling me were the lines. the only reason I did as I did on the first session was because of the ride I got in the white hatch and remembered some of the line he took. Then I got to take a ride in my instructors pontiac GTO(had hankook race tires and full wilwood brake kit and other little things) and I just payed attention to where he was turning in and braking and just how he was driving in general. Second time out I was 10 times better, holding the line and braking just a little bit harder. by the time I was ready for my third session I had pretty much got it down, and I was able to start pushing the brakes a lil more. I foudn that i was braking at the 300 mark my first couple times out and on my 3rd i wasnt even beginning to brake until about the 200 or 150 mark. my power was the only thing holding me back from being a real fast car by the end of the day...
And for all you honda people, I had a VX tranny in the car

I bought it thinking it was an SI and by the time I got the car ready it was too late to swap out to atleast my DX tranny again. So that really hurt me bad at the track...its not fun when 2nd gear goes to 90 mph!!! So next time I will either have my dx or an SI tranny and Ill go kick some butt!!!
