Tonight I am sitting at light on fowler before university square mall, right after 30th st, and i roll up next to a dropped eclipse, with the gs-x wing and some rims...and i wasn't expecting a race, i was just admiring how nice the car looked. So i see it creeping up a little bit, and seriously i have a thing where i hate to see people creep up like they're going to just fly off of the line, so i put my clutch down, put in first, and just wait for the green light. i didn't want to race because i had a black in my hand and i know i wouldn't be able to shift right but what the hell, i try anyway. the light turns green and he jumps off of the line, i punch my first and take the lead, unfortunatly i slam into second but all you hear is crzccchhhz( i guess thats the best way to describe it), i grind 2nd. tires give a 2 second chirp and the rpm kicks up to 7 in no time...slam it into third and by then i have a car and a half on him, i stop and hit the brakes. big smile on my face

. unfortunatly for me the guy in the eclipse doesnt want to acknowledge the stock ls, i wanted to give my thumbs up and say nice race but he just flies past me like at 80. i have a new sense of regained faith in my ls and makes me want to keep it now....
for the guy in the eclipse if you're here, good race and we should try it again some other time at the track for real...later!
