you have it backwards. long runners = torque
short runners = horsepower

also the egr spacer should not make much of a difference in power (length wise) due to the fact that it is not a "tuned" runner of the intake. it may make SOME change but not as much as say shortening the upper intake by 1". the actual individual runners length help determine the rpm the torque is produced. this would make an interesting test though.

i wonder if removing it would reduce some velocity of the air right after the throttle blade (thus affecting the n20) as removing it would allow the air to "dump" into the upper quickly instead of the extra area the spacer provides.

Sammy, i have an egr eliminator bracket if you want it. i still need to stop by to bring you the cart.

bring that eliminator bracket by when you get a minute, i'm almost ready to start doing some testing, and next weekend I'm moving into the new office so you need to come check it out anyways...
