Hey DJ this is Tomo's brother who came with to pick up the vehicle. Please don't turn this into battle of words. To be quite honest my brother has been EXTREMELY respectful to you and did not call you out in any way so for you to try and make this situation appear to be his fault is not right. I am not saying that you intentionally sold the vehicle knowing it had a blown head gasket but i assure you that it did not happen in the short time we had the vehicle. The car had maybe been driven very lightly twice before I ran tests on the cylinders after noticing that the coolant levels were not stable. For you to say that the car did not have any issues before we bought it is not accurate. It may not have APPEARED to have any obvious issues but you cannot say it had not shown signs of failure. The radiator being replaced just prior to being sold is a dead giveaway that it had this issue prior to our purchase. The blinking oil pressure light was another sign, after testing the cylinders and noticing a cylinder had signs of coolant consumption, I drained the oil and noticed coolant mixed in.
Now, Tomo has attempted to call you numerous times to no avail. I know he got a hold of you once and you talked for a few minutes but the reception was cut and he couldn't get through to you after that. YOU, after knowing he was trying to contact you, did not attempt to call him back.
I am not saying this is your fault in any way or that you had absolute knowledge of the condition of the car BUT there were signs and these issues did not just come out of nowhere.
I'm not saying that you are responsible for anything as this is our problem now and that is the responsibility of making a purchase which may have been done a little hastily, but you can make a show of good character by contacting my brother and trying to work something out. Thanks and sorry for the lengthy post but I find it a little venting because this situation has caused alot of stress between my brother and I, who both go to college and work, and must coordinate with each other for transportation now.
