Any b -series vtec head will work. They all flow about the same with the exception of the itr. The year doesn't matter much as long as it is in good condition.
For the wiring harness you'd want to just modify your existing one
ECU:
The easiest as far as wiring would be concerned is the b16a1 ecu's (pr3, pw0).
I prefer to run an obd1 ecu like a chipped p28 or a chipped p30, but this requires more wiring and an obd1 vtec distributor.
When I first did my lsvtec it ran fine with a pr3.
You match the distributor to the ecu you are running:
pr3/pw0, you can use a b16a1 distributor or modify a 90-91 ls one (not really recommended)
obd1 ecu, you need an obd1 (92-95) vtec distributor or again you can modify a 92-95 ls distributor.
Note: I just noticed you have a 93 ls swap. Was your car converted to obd1 electronics when the swap was done? Or do you run a 90-91 ls distributor and ecu?
