You are correct to a point, let me help you.

94-95 gsr = y80
96+ gsr = s80
94+ ls = s80
96+ ITR = s80

Look for a VIN number (little green tag thats rivited to the case) that may help.
DC4 = LS
DC2 = GSR

You can never tell exactly whats inside unless you open the case and count the teeth.
