This is probably an ecu. I read on LotusCentral that learn mode has to be engaged to set engine timing, and when you jump the ALDL to get into learning mode, the check engine light is supposed to blink

Mine dosent, no matter how hard i stick it in (a paper clip)



EDIT: also cleaned the IAC valve, was caked in soot, valve is functional cause it clicked when i gave it power.
