Too bad to enter the real gumball 3000 it costs $30,000 USD. Maxamillion Cooper (the founder) is a rich ass bastard. They stop once every 12-24 hours at 5 star hotels/resorts and rent out the ballrooms and throw enormous parties... there's no sleeping for like 5 days, and in cars people switch off driving...that obviously wouldn't work too well on a bike...unless you're on crystal meth and can stay awake for 5 days and still be alert enough to not die on a bike.
