The only difference is just the fuel/ignition maps. Its basically the same ecu with different mapping.. Unless you have ITR cams and same cr ratio as a stock type r per say.. I don't think it should make a big difference on a stock motor.
I would the the jdm itr ecu since its more agressive proggy.
It's nice in light of not running a S02 or CFS (basically an OBDII pinned OBDI ECU) but oddly enough the dyno plots I've seen comparing the two have favored the USDM ECU. I'd research it a bit more before commiting any funds towards one.
even with just basic mods on a b18c1 you would reccomend a USDM ITR ecu??
