I'll preach my new purchase here... I got 225/45/YR17 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Positions mounted, balanced with road hazard for $623 at the Firestone installer in front of the University Square Mall - it would have been $700 with shipping and the road hazard alone form TireRack. According to Luke@TireRack via Nasioc, the S-O3s are now discountinued*. The flagship max performance are of course the RE-01Rs with the RE050A PPs as the next max performance summer tire. FYI, yes, they're 140 UTQG rated, but that's subjective [I hope!]
