So, We are trying to get an LCD in this slot with a panel that pops up and latches down for that stockish look...

So, I was hoping someone in here would have some suggestions for the support bars that can spring up slowly and hold it steady when its up.

Heres the dash - we are fitting a 7" LCD into the hole.
