mine is alpine head unit i ran all the wires with kenwood speakers,it sounds prety good,you have to get speakers that operate in the rms watt range,that you head unit sends out per chanel,if you get speakers that need more power to run then u gona have to use a amplifier,if you got polk most likely you gona need to run a amp,check the back of the speaker and see how many rms does it operate from,i think averge head unit is like 50 watts per channel so the rms would probably be from 15 to 18 rms watts per channel,go to crutchfield.com it tells you their how that shiznit work,or i can do it for ya...
