whether your talking...
1. 10 degress ot total timing advance at atmospheric
2. 10 over base idle setting at idle (16+10= 26deg btdc)
3. 10 degress over the preferred total timing advance at atmospheric(roughly 35deg btdc)
none will cause a motor to spin a bearing. oil starvation or bad bearing clearances will cause this. excessive blowby causing contaminated oil can also over time.
just do me a favor and stop saying he caused your motor to spin a bearing
