A pretty good night of racing, first on tap was a red Turbo Talon awd, we went twice from a roll with me riding 3 deep and he also had a passenger, we hit it at the same time and each time I pull 1.5-2 cars. I heard he went 12.6 and I also heard 12.7 and 12.8. I dunno which one is right. Later on that night he wanted to go from a stop. We come out the hole even and I pull him about 2-3 cars. I ran slim shady in his new car from a roll and pulled about 2 cars on him, I dont know if he was spraying but I think so. He did beat a mild head and cam SS 2 times that night, but I pulled the SS also by a car. I think the SS still needs some tuning, he should be getting more out of it. Then I raced a red 240sx with a Silvia swap. The first race was REAL close, we went from a 1st gear roll and he got a slight jump and got out a car length on me, he hit the govener at 115 and I was coming slightly and had made up most of the room, he still may have had me by a nose of a fender. So we do it a couple times again at a different spot. This time I made sure to rev it to about 6grand and dump the clutch to make sure I got a good jump. Each time I jumped out at least 2 cars and held it. Definatley good races with the 240. He said he wasnt in his power band at that mph so we'll have to do it again. I love having tourqe on demand and not having to wait for my engine to spool up or kick into V-Tec. Instant throttle response is definately my advantage.
