Have you tried any motocross gloves on. I know they aren't designed for asphault, but I love them. Have lnog fingernails may still pose a problem though. As far as jackets, I used to just wear a textile one and deal with the heat, but they have mesh jackets that are extremely light weight and are very cool as they are mostly pads in the needed spots and a mesh material forming the jacket. Your still going to get hot, but it comes with the territory. Be responsible and deal with it. Getting a little sweat running your maskera [sp?] is a hell of a lot better than looking like some victim that survived The Texas Chainsaw Massacre for the rest of your life.
