The motor is a Ford Racing crate 302. Puts out 345hp bone stock and we've done some stuff to it. It's lightweight, pretty modern, small and easy to work on. Should be more than enough power with a 2200 pound car so we'll see. If I can't hang on the straights (doubtful) I can always go with a little bit of forced induction

Color is still up in the air at the moment. While I love the classic look of the Blue with white stripes, it's just SO common at any meet. I've always been about having something other people don't. Ive liked silver cars, black ones look great. and the two new colors I'm thinking about are White, and that Orange you see on that new Shelby Gt500. It's an amazing color. Either way my first few track events will be in the Gel coat maybe even primer. Might as well get away with a few scufs and stuff before upwards of 5-7 grand is dropped on a paint job
