when the FF layout was engineered it was made for safety, affordability, and chicks. over the years people have learned to tweak FF layout cars to do some cool things but really the FF car was never meant for this type of driving. a few things most FF cars bring to the table naturally is poor launching, limeted engine space, and understeer. i dont think any FF chassis has ever been made to perform on the track in stock trim level. just look at the srt-4, its built on a modified PT cruiser chassis. if you just need a car for dailydriving then it doesnt matter. but no matter what im driving it has to be rwd. id rather be on the edge of over steer coming around a corner than hoppping around the apex (understeer). for the money, get something with the power to the rear.
