True dat. I don't really like the Fox hatches either...too boxy. The notch is the cleanest looking of all, IMHO, which is why I have one. But, as you say, it's not a thing of great beauty either. However, it has relatively clean lines and a hell of an aftermarket.
But hey, as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That's why they have sold more than one Citroen, or Chevy Caprice.
I always had hatches but wanted a notch. I suppose you could call my 96 a coupe...I dunno. In a way, I am hoping for the return of the hatchback option. Shit, I like em all...I cant decide.
One day I will obtain a double black 91 notch.
