A few things to consider -

Events – I have looked into it briefly, but I think someone like Kyle should chime in; he should be able to enlighten everyone with his experience. From personal experience, it is not as easy as everyone thinks in order to get an event up and running. I have approached a few places that hold sanctioned events, besides your normal insurance, money, etc, a lot of these places also look at the organizer's experience. If you are trying to organize an event, most places require and look at what you have done in the past. Other possible locations, such as the dog track and other possible venues are a little harder to approach due to liability reasons. Of course on top of all this, money might also become an issue.

Members – It good to see that there are actually people standing up to those that think they are above the ‘law’. It’s depressing that the same people in which a certain amount of members look up to are the actual ones that causes the headaches. There should be a level of humbleness, with that in mind; there should be no reason to cause havoc in which I believe what’s exactly happening. Those people believe that if you don’t drift or if you own a FWD vehicle, and any other BS reason, should stay out of the drifting forum…..it’s almost like saying, hey, don’t come and support Formula D events if you don’t drift, attempt to drift, own a drift car, etc.

All these ‘noob’ talk, I have never really understood what this is about. If TR retained its original 100 members or whatever, how would a community such as TR grow? There will always be new members with the same questions that will be asked over and over again, I think it’s the nature of a community forum such as TR. Get over it already
