Do you want a motor you are going to have to rebuild every other pass? Do you want a streetable car? How serious are you willing to get with suspension? There are so many questions you must ask yourself before you go too much further.

And if you do decide to go in a serious direction, buy a beater as your daily driver. You'll save some mad cash with a $1100 Civic as opposed to a why-am-I-constantly-tweaking-and-filling-the-tank 500+ hp beast.
