New Ford CEO drives a Lexus
Ford's new CEO Alan Mulally drives a Lexus LS 430, and he says he made the purchase because "it's the finest car in the world." Detroit Free Press columnist Tom Walsh says the fact alone "tells us a lot about Alan Mulally." Mulally, according to Walsh, is a realist who "knows Lexus cars are better than anything currently in Ford's lineup, and he doesn't care if Ford employees or the media hear him say it out loud."

This may tell you something, I own a ford, and i like some of them.. But this struck me just right!
This amongst the rumors of the GM/FORD partnership possibility, and the losses chrysler posted... LET alone the dwindling crap that is ford's stock

They arent in good here, and at least the new CEO has the balls to admit it!

Im not a balls in toyota fan, i like some of what they make, and that some predominantly is the more expensive lineup, i cant lie. I dont give a shit for camrys and the like, but i suppose if they provide a good product, and people buy it regardless, things like this will happen!
Toyota plotting to overtake GM as largest automaker
Toyota is planning to increase its worldwide production by 40 percent and U.S. production by 20 percent, according to Japanese newspaper Nihon Keizai. The move would put North American output at 1.84 million vehicles, thanks to new plants in Texas and Canada. Toyota expects to meet these goals by 2008, the newspaper said. During the same period, General Motors and Ford are expected to either reduce or not change the number of vehicles they produce.
