actually you have it backward you have a 3k mustang that kept up with a 60k nsx but what ever, for me i want a car that consists of the whole package not just a car with alot of motor.
i always get the same group of people ask me why don't you race this person or that person and then they seem to get frustrted when i say i don't feel like it, well if these people would tell racing stories like it was then i'd race those guys more often.
as for me getting smaked around all night i raced 4 cars:
the white mustang
a red mr2
a black camero ss (he won the first time b/c i missed 3rd and i won the second time sounded like he missed 3rd)
a silver camero we raced once at high speeds and he was catching me and then we let of due to traffic.
what i find intresting is not only did i have 700psi of juice, but every car i raced was extremely worked and proberly spend hours building these cars. and these will be the cars that 2 months from now will be all striped apart because they need motor work of some sort.[/quote]
ok my car is slow, its basically stock, Mac Headers, H pipe and stock mufflers.
I run a 14.7 at 94 mph and a 9.3 at 75 mph on the 1/8th...
I beat an SS one night, surprisingly but I did, amazed the hell outa me. He had 3 other people in his car totalling some good weight, it was a 6 speed and he was in a lower gear then me off the start and we were at like 30 or 40 mph and he stomped it to the floor and I followed, started catching and then I was even with him, then I was saying bye, best part is that ure car is so much quicker and lighter than an SS and u got beat by him, even if u missed a gear u should have cranked his ass.
u might not remember a blue and silver mustang fox body, ran u one night in Tampa, im sure u run alot of stangs but u ripped on him, not surprisingly though, basically stock with just a few mods done like an intake, cold air, new mass air meter, tremec tranny and short throw.
pushin like a little over 250 hp if lucky.Well he is gonna get a new motor really soon here, Boss 302 , prepare to get raped cause he wants to race again, and we will have plenty of witnesses and then the story will only change to ure liking...
