for chrome you can use window cleaner and steel wool, extra fine. works awesome. for polished you are pretty much fucked, hand soap and some polish is the best for that

at work we have wheel acid, for the people who have never cleaned their wheels, and they come out brand new, but you dont want to use that stuff often at all. and dont breathe that shit in either, we had a tech who thought it was water, sprayed his car with it, and was too close, he was out for three days with complications.

for most cars, some AP cleaner works fine, with a mitt and soap.



those with clear coat on their wheels should be careful, obviously clear coat doesnt like a lot of chemicals
