I'm sorry, no stock motor 240sx is going to beat a turbo eclipse with drivers equal. On top of that, no STOCK 240sx makes 160whp. Even 145whp is pushing it. Stock 240SX are slow, end of story. If you want to go fast in one, boost is necessary.
I own a 240, and I'm not going to pump them up to something they're not. They put down 130whp give or take a couple. 240s are slow in completely stock form. No arguing that.
It takes some form of forced induction to make them any kind of fast. 14+ second 1/4 mile isn't fast (to me atleast).
Even 240 owners are in here agreeing with the fact that a 240 in stock form are slow and put 135whp if that and a stock GST would walk them.
The argument is over. There's no way a N/A car pushing 135whp if that is going to beat a GST that has 170-190whp in stock form.
A GST in stock form will pull high 14's to low 15's at a 1/4 mile track. It doesn't take much (mod wise) to get them in the 12's and 13's.
