Mini-me swap is a d16 head (one w/ VTEC) onto a D15 block(USDM non-VTEC). And if you want to know whether or not you have VTEC on a single cam just look at where the plug wires are. No VTEC the plugs are on the back of the valve cover towards the firewall, with VTEC they are on the front. Hope this helps.

There is no way to tell exactly which head you have that I know of(without removing it). Its just some form of a D16 VTEC head. If you want to know for sure ask the person you bought the car from.
