its one guy on 2 wheels that was speeding. the cops chasing him for a speeding violation also endangered other peoples lives. a cop, with the right mind set (protecting the public 1st) would have let him go.
2 years ago it may have been a misdemeanor to elude an officer. Now, the law is if you choose to elude it automatically becomes a felony, at least here in Florida... They can stop the suspect how every they feel is necessary to keep the public safe. Meaning even if the suspect die's or gets injured, the law looks at it as they saved other lives....
