I could use some help.
Backstory.
This morning, before I left for work, my little brother came walking in the front door. He said he was on his way to school and that his car broke down. So he had pushed it into a parking spot at a convenience store and walked home. We drove by it to check it out and it starts up just fine. I don't hear anything out of the ordinary
Problem.
The issue is you can not put it into gear. You can press the clutch and it refuses to go into gear. The clutch is really soft now as well. It's almost springy. The pedal goes down without hardly any resistance. and again, you can't put the car in gear. Am I going to have to replace the clutch master cylinder or could it be something else? If so how much might that run me? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks
