I'm driving to work when the middle schoolers are getting picked up. I hate the months from August -> June when it comes to the traffic due to all the extra congestion caused by school.

On another note, I swear when I was a kid school buses did NOT have stops along major roads like they do these days -- they would pull into a neighborhood to let kids off instead of stopping on a busy street during rush our . WTF changed

Also, August 2nd?? When I went to school it was more like August 22nd. Why did that change?

I'm making myself feel old here at 24 with all the "when I was a kid..." stuff
