maybe the one for the civic si could pull a little more due to the design differences, but I don't know.

not on the blowers that are made for hondas.
the JR ones that are made by Eaton grenade themselves if you spin them too fast, I've heard several times that 12 lbs can be enough to make them implode.
I'm not too sure about the Vortech kit, however it is driven by a shaft that runs all the way across the engine from the belt side to the tranny side.
can you imagine what could happen if you happened to bend that shaft a hair or do something to throw off the balance and then spin the motor up to 8000 rpms? I am pretty sure due to the pully sizing that shaft is spinning pretty damn fast, especially if you were trying to pull 30 psi.
Cliff notes: Blowers for hondas are great for daily drivers but suck when it comes to big dyno numbers.
