theres two or three holes for the started that bolt to the tranny...the dul pin would either be on the top one or the bottem one...they do tend to loosen up and move when u remove the starter so when u bolt it back on its crooked or not seated right...just check it out to see if its strait and if u bolt the starter back on and it sits flush against the tranny then there shouldnt be a proplem but if there is a gap somewhere then it means something isnt linin up and it could be the proplem...its like putting a tranny against a motor basically..u have to line the dul pins up or u wil snap the case...same sanario....
