My experience was not quite so pleasant. After working on preliminary numbers, my friend wanted to get a quote from his insurance and run the numbers while sleeping on it. We go to leave when my friend realizes he didn't have the keys to his car. The dealership played the whole "I thought you had the keys" for over an hour while trying to get us to take the new car home. He refused. They finally "found" his keys (supposedly sitting in the middle of the drivers seat of the car he test drove, even though everyone had checked there) when they realized we weren't fucking around. We both told off the managers to the point they went into an office and threatened to call the cops.
That happened to me when I was looking at a Mach 1. I wanted to leave, but they couldnt find the keys. I finally kicked over the water cooler, and bitch slapped the sales manager and they finally found them. They were in his pocket
