sorry guy, but those modifications you mentioned arent going to get you into the 10s unless your car is gutted down to like 2200lbs. and as for the 60ft. times being 1.5s and 1.6s, no street tire is going to do that unless you have ahooking suspension. and still i dont see it happening unless you are making 375-400 hp to the tires. that would be on drag radials not street tires. i know some nasty f-bodies and the fastes all motor f-body ive seen runs 10s with a stroked motor, afr race heads, custom ground solid roller cam pushing .668 int. .680 exh. 260/272 duration @.50, a custom intake manifold from wilsons manifolds,40 lb. injectors, f.a.s.t tuning system, 4.56 gears, and a super 700 automatic with a 4800 stall from art carr with every type of suspension upgrade you can imagine. 1998 TA hybrid LS1. so you might want to do your numbers again buddy. i personally have 2 mustangs. a 90 coupe and a 95 cobra. but thats a story for another day. youll see the cobra taking on all the dyno queen supras and any other type of import you can imagine in the only place they can make a name for themselves, in the dyno room.NOT THE DRAG STRIP!!!
