I could probably find dozens upon dozens of examples of SBF that can defy your theory but I am not going to waste my time with it. It would be like me telling you about pot smoking, I know nothing about it.
Yeah, dozens of examples in fantasy land.

With the right head work, cam and pistons you could get a little over 2 HP/CI out of a NA 5.0, so 700 HP is possible but as I said it would take a lot of money, race hardware and it would not be a very streetable motor.

How about you post even one example of any 5 litre putting out over 450 HP without either a power adder or race hardware (and high compression pistons and radical cams are race hardware you know).

Good luck.

The fact that there arn't any is the reason why I know you are not going to bother with even one example of such a feat.

Please elaborate on what you consider unstreetable(i.e. cam profile, comp. ratio, head porting?, etc?) Your definition of unstreetable is based on YOUR opinion which if u asked other people the same question they may have a different take on it. The 5 liter has been out since the 60's so it doesn't take deep pockets to make the motor fast. Its' aftermarket is endless. The 450 hp in question I assume your stating fwhp and not rwhp. Are you saying a 302 can't get 450 on the crank? If so, I'm gonna disagree with you. It is possible and not with a radical cams, comp, heads or a flux capacitor. -Mark
